Sunday and Stuffed Mirlitons on the mind.

Woke up dragging a little, but the first cup of Emerils coffee is starting to clear up the fog.  I am so in love with the Keurig coffee maker thingy.  My kids and their cousin Kyle are now outside "Ding Dong Ditching" some of my poor neighbors.  Even Tyler is participating in this adventure.  I am already prepared for the knocks at my door, "Do you know what your kids are doing"?

Due to the Gulf Oil Spill, I am a little leary of buying Oysters and Shrimp.  Both of which I need for my Thanksgiving menu.  Oyster dressing and my moms Stuffed Mirlitons with Shrimp, her recipe.  I am so thankful I have her recipes in her beautiful handwriting, I think one day I will have them made into a hard bound book as a gift to my sisters and sons and whoever else I think worthy.  I do miss her especially around the holidays when families take time to spend with each other.

If anyone who reads this and I seriously doubt anyone reads this, as this is only my second blog post and I have everything to learn about blogging and no clue as to what the hell I am doing yet.  Anyway, if you would like the Mirliton recipe, I would be happy to send it to you.  Just ask.

Loads to do today, a pile of laundry, downstairs floors and stairs need a good vacuuming, a grocery trip, lunch, dinner, keeping my kids from being arrested.  It's all good.
